A synthetic ice rink was opened to the public in Plaza La Nogalera, Torremolinos, on Saturday, December 10
The rink, which has a capacity for 60 people, costs only 1 euro per 12-minute session. Opening times are from 6pm until 10pm on weekdays, from 11am until 2pm, and 6pm until 10pm at weekends. The rink has a Christmas tree as a central feature.

Children are also invited to deliver their Christmas letters to Santa until Saturday 24 December between the hours of 6pm and 10pm Monday to Friday. Santa Claus’ grotto is also located in Plaza La Nogalera. Santa will also be in residence from 11am until 2pm and 6pm to 10pm on Saturdays.
On December 2, the inauguration of the Christmas lighting took place in Plaza Costa del Sol at  8:00 p.m. This ceremony was marked by the singer  Ainhoa ​​Arteta, who was previously in charge of opening the parade as a Christmas Star escorted by boys and girls from the municipality.
The parade started at 7:00 p.m. from Plaza San Miguel and ended with a performance by the Carmen Crespo dance group.
As a novelty this year, Torremolinos also has a  Great Christmas Ball that is installed in Plaza Costa del Sol which opened on December 2.  From December 3 to January 6, the Ball will have three shows of lights and music for the enjoyment of passers-by, at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
