The Andalucian health service will roll out the fourth Covid vaccination dose for those under 60 at the beginning of next week

The regional population of the under 60 year-olds will on Monday, December 19, be able to get the second booster vaccine against coronavirus- the fourth dose.

This was announced on Friday, December 16, by sources from the Ministry of Health and Consumption. The vaccinations for the autumn-winter campaign against the flu and Covid were already scheduled for December but depended on the availability of the doses.

This measure was already common in flu vaccination campaigns, which has now been expanded to include the Covid jab. Since the pandemic began, some 20 million vaccines have been administered, which means that 90.11% of the population has received at least one dose.

Those interested can request an appointment through the usual channels, such as the ClicSalud+ website, the Andalusian Health App, by telephone through Salud Responde, or by contacting their local health centre.
