The El Gordo Christmas lottery has paid out 69 million euros to lucky winners across Spain´s Andalucía
Lucky winners won 4 million euros with the winning ticket 05490. Some 69 million euros were distributed across Andalucía, mainly in the provinces of Almería, Seville, Málaga, and Granada, although the municipalities of Jerez ( Cádiz ), Gibraleón ( Huelva ), and Los Villares ( Jaén ) have also been graced, each one of them, with a tenth of the winning number.
Most of the prize money has been monopolised by the Almería municipality of Roquetas de Mar, where the number 2 Lottery administration sold a series of the 15 winning numbers (05490) for El Gordo 2022.
The series of numbers represented a win of 60 million euros. This same administration distributed, in 2015, a total of 452 million euros for the first prize of the Extraordinary Christmas Draw. Below, the winning numbers:
