The Sierra Nevada Ski resort in Granada is full to capacity within only a few weeks of opening for the winter season
The Andalucian ski resort is full to capacity for the first time this 2022-2023 season. According to a spokesperson from Cetursa, the company in charge of managing the ski resort, Thursday, December, 29, was the first day of this season in which the maximum capacity of 8,000 skiers. was reached- a number based on the range of kilometers available and safe to ski on.
Currently on offer from Sierra Nevada is a total of 27 skiable kilometers spread over 34 slopes in the areas of Borreguiles, Veleta, Loma de DÃlar, and, partially, El RÃo, which can only be accessed by using the Stadium chairlift.
The company also stated that from January 1, 2023, ski passes will only be available online.
