A new streaming service from SKY is now available in Spain that brings together content from Universal, Paramount and other brands

The new streaming platform joins the ranks of popular competitors such as Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video, Filmin, Disney+, and Apple TV+. The platform, called SkyShowtime, boasts a vast collection of movies and series that can be accessed with a paid subscription.

SkyShowtime is the result of a collaboration between two major audiovisual brands: Sky, which has a strong presence in Europe, and Showtime, an American company. Both are owned by Comcast, a North American group.

Through this partnership, the platform will offer content from other iconic audiovisual brands owned by the same group, such as Paramount, Universal, and NBC. NBC is one of the popular open television networks in the United States that already streams content through the Peacock platform.

What to watch

More than 600 films from sagas and franchises such as Star Trek, Fast & Furious, Jackass, Jason Bourne, Transformers, Paranormal Activity, American Pie, Gru, Despicable Me, Madagascar, Mission Impossible, The Purge, Back to the future, Grab it as you can or Scream, among many others are available to watch now.
