American singer-songwriter and pop icon Bob Dylan will be performing at the city of Alicante’s Plaza de Toros in June 2023
The iconic singer, who is 82 years old, will present his ‘Rough and Rowdy’ world tour at the city’s Plaza de Toros on June 15. Dylan’s presence on this stage, where international stars such as Tom Jones or Alejandro Sanz will also perform, consolidates Alicante as a music capital and a benchmark in large-scale national festivals, such as the Spring Festival or the Bombastic.

The Plaza de Toros in Alicante is set to host twelve performances as part of the Goldest Legend’s Concerts, featuring top artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Tom Jones, Joaquín Sabina, Vanesa Martín, and Pablo Alborán, among others.
In addition to these events, Alicante is set to host several festivals, including the Spring Festival, Area 12, Rocanrola, “Live the roof,” Boombastic, and Negrita Fest, featuring artists like Bizarrap, Mala Rodríguez, Juan Magán, Pablo López, and Hombres G.
The events are expected to draw a total attendance of 440,000 people and generate an estimated 40 million euros in direct impact. The new brand “Alicante Loves Music” was recently introduced to encompass the range of concerts and festivals, with performances taking place from April to October to help in deseasonalization.
The city’s mayor, Luis Barcala, and deputy mayor, Mari Carmen Sánchez, emphasized the positive impact of musical tourism for the city’s economy and all audiences
