A 25-year-old British tourist is in critical care after being struck by a motorcycle on a pedestrian crossing in Benidorm Spain
He was airlifted to the hospital after suffering severe head injuries in the accident. According to reports, the incident occurred when the tourist attempted to cross the road at a red light, despite his friends’ attempts to stop him.
The motorbike rider was unable to avoid the pedestrian and collided with him, causing multiple injuries. Emergency medical assistance was administered at the scene before the injured Brit was airlifted to Alicante’s General University Hospital, where he is said to be in critical condition.

The accident took place on Thursday at around 5:30 PM on a road near Benidorm’s “Little England” area, where the speed limit is just under 20mph. Local authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause and circumstances of the accident.
A man who was reportedly on his way to Benidorm’s Levante beach promenade was struck by a motorcycle in a collision that left both parties injured. The pedestrian’s injuries were not disclosed, but the motorbike rider, whose nationality has not been confirmed, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is being investigated by local police, who are trying to determine the cause of the accident and whether the motorbike was being operated within the legal speed limit. As of this morning, neither the police nor the hospital have provided an update on the condition of those involved in the collision.
