EasyJet has announced a new route that will connect Malaga and Lyon during the summer of 2023
The Irish low-cost carrier will operate the first flight of the new route on June 3 of next year. It is scheduled to depart twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays
EasyJet said through a statement that the company intends to contribute to better international connectivity in the city of Malaga and closer to the main European airports.
The airline’s website now offers tickets for the brand-new route that will connect Malaga with Lyon. The inaugural flight will depart on June 3, 2023, and it will run every Tuesday and Saturday thereafter. EasyJet already connects Malaga with the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, therefore this is the airline’s second direct service to a French city from Malaga.
