The deaths of a couple found shot to death in La Línea de La Concepción Cádiz could be due to sexist violence
A 64-year-old Italian woman and a 65-year-old Swiss man were found dead in a house in La Línea de La Concepción (Cádiz). Sources close to the investigation say that the couple were in the process of separating. The National Police are investigating their deaths and believe it may be a case of sexist violence. They think the man shot the woman before killing himself.
The bodies were discovered around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, after a neighbour heard shots in the house and alerted the emergency services. The house is located in a gated community on Narcisos street in the La Alcaidesa urbanization.
If the deaths are confirmed as a case of sexist violence, it will be the seventh time this year that a woman has been murdered by her partner or ex-partner.
