The price of electricity in Spain falls this Saturday by 8.5%

The average price of electricity supplied to consumer’s in Spain falls this Saturday by 8.5% to128.59 euros/MWh

The price of electricity drops this Saturday, February 11, to 128.59 euros/MWh, 8.5% less than this Friday, when it sells for 140.53 euros.

In the auction, the price of the wholesale market, the pool , will be on average 131.76 euros/MWh on this day, according  to provisional data from the Iberian Energy Market Operator  (OMIE).

By the hour,  it will be cheaper from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a minimum of 103.36 euros . In addition, it will maintain its lowest values ​​in the day from 12:00 to 17:00. On the contrary, it will be more expensive from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a maximum of 161.01 euros. Likewise, it will be more expensive ​​from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
