Three people have been arrested and two more are under investigation over a Puerto Banús nightclub gun altercation
The National Police have arrested three people, and charged another two, in relation to the incidents with a firearm that occurred in January at the door of a leisure venue in Puerto Banús, Marbella.
As reported in a statement, the five have been investigated for their alleged involvement in the crimes of illegal possession of weapons and the attack on a police officer.
The incident took place on January 29 when there was an altercation at the door of a nightclub between some customers and security personnel since they refused to leave the place.
Some later they returned and fired several shots at the facade of the premises. In the search carried out in the home of the investigated, various effects were seized, including a pistol and a magazine.

The police investigations began in January when agents were briefed on the facts through a complaint. The complaint reported that shots were fired on the façade of a leisure venue and related it to a previous altercation that occurred between some clients and the security personnel of the disco.
As a result of investigations, law enforcement officers were able to link the vehicle used in the shooting incident to a group of individuals who may have been involved. Upon identifying the suspects’ location, authorities sought a warrant to search their residence, which was executed on February 3.
During the search, five individuals were present, three of whom were arrested and two were charged in connection with the incident. Among the items seized were the pistol used in the incident, a charger with four bullets, five bulletproof vests, a frequency jammer, and 28,250 euros in cash.
