Acosol warns of possible water shortages

Costa del Sol water services supplier, Acosol, has warned of possible water shortages between Cabopino to La Cala de Mijas

Acosol has announced its plan to carry out repairs on the second high-supply pipeline between Cabopino in Marbella and La Cala de Mijas starting on Wednesday, March 1, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

To ensure continued water supply, Acosol has arranged for additional flows from Malaga to supplement the existing resources; however, supply restrictions may still be necessary during the estimated 10-day repair period.

The repairs will affect the municipalities of Benalmádena, Fuengirola, and Mijas, including the urban nucleus of Las Lagunas, the urbanisations between La Ponderosa and Calahonda, and the center of La Cala de Mijas.
